Battery Issue
By JustMeĀ |Ā on Sunday, November 29, 2020
My beautiful 2020 RAV4 XLE wouldnāt start. I had a 2015 Rav that never gave me a problem. Should have kept it. When the tech came to jump it he said there is a big problem with these cars and Toyota has not found the problem to create a recall. I called the dealership and they are going to call me back. Also sent an email to Toyota. Something is draining the battery and I hope they find out what it is.⦠- 4.0
Great vehicle with big flaw
By CitizenCanĀ |Ā on Monday, December 07, 2020
I bought the Limited. The Good: Handles well, plenty of power, and great fuel economy. Front seat comfort only ok. Fog lights very weak. The Bad: The $1,025 Tech package includes bird's eye rear view camera that is inferior to the standard, and the foot sensing rear hatch actuator is finicky and unreliable. The smart key system works very well, but I found it can drain the battery if you store your keys too close to the vehicle. Avoid this package. The frivolous: Digital rear view mirror is nothing special. The Inexcusable: the 14.5 gallon fuel tank holds 12 gallons if you are lucky. Owner's manual says running out of fuel is a big issue, so don't chance it. Toyota's been promising a fix for a year, but seems to find aggravated customers cost less than fixing the issue. Not disclosed when purchasing vehicle.⦠- 2.0
Battery Issue

Battery has died twice in 6 months. Toyota does not know what is causing the battery to drain. Dealer cannot identify what is the problem. Toyota needs to discover the problem and the fix.ā¦
