Great car. Not for everyone.
By RickĀ |Ā on Sunday, December 27, 2020
Comfortable quiet ride. Great gas mileage and strong V6. Cold weather causes rattles from the rear deck. Low entry height. Climate system is slow to heat up/ cool down when engine first starts. JBL sound system is nice but can easily cause buzz and rattles in door panels. Fit and finish are good with better than average materials. Great long trip cruiser. Huge trunk and spacious back seats. Headlights are just ā good enough ā at best.⦠- 5.0
A Luxury Car with a Toyota Badge
By LibreezĀ |Ā on Friday, August 23, 2019
As a Realtor, it was time to find a comfortable and luxurious sedan that didn't look too showy. I had looked at the previous generation of Avalons, but when I took the 2019 out for a test ride was sold! The fold down seats, smooth power, handling, and luxury feel are unlike any Toyota I've driven. I bought the Touring in Red with Graphite interior and the Advanced Safety Package. The car is very enjoyable to drive, my clients love riding in it, the fuel economy is exceptional (34 MPG highway and over 24 combined) and the acceleration is strong. The different drive modes change the car's character, and there is a slight delay in the throttle response that takes some getting used to compared to conventional cable direct throttles. The tires can make some muted "thumping" on the highway that the dealer says is normal. These are my only minor issues on an exceptional sedan that turns heads and checks all the boxes.⦠- 1.0
2019 Toyota Avalon XSE
By SteveĀ |Ā on Monday, March 23, 2020
Road Noise on Drivers Side Rear when accelerating above 45 MPH. Around 62 MPH has a constant rattle. Working with a Toyota Corporate Service Provider to try to fix the problem with dealership. Had a 2011 Avalon which was a more comfortable ride.ā¦
